Has it held, the warm June weather?

Why are British FILMS so good? I watched Love, Rosie on TUBI and it’s a beautiful movie. The other movie I watched while travelling was What If and it was equally beautiful (and sappy).

The title for the post is an ode to John Betjeman, but it’s Hugo Williams who writes what I want for Love, Rosie and What If.

“The question combines the power of memory with the power of language to track over time and space. Has it held? I think we say it has.”

And there’s Murakami:

That’s what we all do: endlessly take the long way around. I wanted to tell her this. Blurring out aphorisms like that was another one of my problems.”

This is related since the concert is in Hyde Park and the original post was titled “….so rooms are like cages.”
