English Premiere League Finale (2024/25)

The English Premiere League (EPL) season ends today. The season was absolute rubbish for Saints Fans, but like spring baseball, hope springs eternal. The club has appointed a new manager and the drama in the Championship next season should be obscene. Here’s what to watch…

(a) Charlton was promoted via playoffs, and their manager is former Saints manager Nathan Jones. His brief tenure was absolutely disastrous.

(b) The Tay-Tay (Taylor Swift) of English Football is Wrexham. They are the darlings of the media and co-owned by the “actor” Ryan Reynolds.

(c) Russell Martin engineered Southampton’s promotion in 2023-24 and now it looks like he’s on his way to Leicester City FC.

(d) Portsmouth is the most despicable football club in England and their owner is Michael Eisner. Eisner is the former CEO of the Walt Disney Company and a progressive icon.
